CROss-border Mobility for EVs (CROME)

Consortium

The project consortium is made up of several partners from Germany and France. All of these partners contribute competencies to different areas of electric mobility, i.e. they manufacture electric vehicles (Daimler AG, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Renault) and charging infrastructures (Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (EnBW), Électricité de France (EDF), Robert Bosch GmbH, Siemens AG, Schneider Electric) and provide services on either sides of the French-German border.

In addition, cooperations with the VDA (Verband der Automobilindustrie) and with regional partners (E-Werk Mittelbaden, Stadtwerke Karlsruhe and Stadtwerke Baden Baden, Star.Energiewerke Rastatt on the German side and Conseil Général de la Moselle, Communauté Urbaine de Strasbourg and Région Alsace on the French side) contribute to exchange in the area of electric mobility. The project is being supported by French and German research institutions (European Institute for Energy Research (EIFER), Institut français des sciences et technologies des transports, de l'aménagement et des réseaux (IFSTTAR), and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)).
